Now that I have had the mudroom wallpapered with my fave Meg Braff, I am on a quest to find a pagoda mirror to help further spruce up the joint. I want something with ultimate lacquer and color. I have navy in mind because I think it would look fab against the Kelly green paper. But I'm open to other suggestions. I have found these mirrors for purchase from stores below but if anyone can tell me where to find a bargain, I'd love to know.
Glam Furniture $495 |
Love the navy lacquer bamboo detail on this pagoda mirror from Glam Furniture. The Horchow Pagoda is also $495 with 20% off and free shipping right now but it's in red and that color isn't what I'm looking for. Horchow Pagoda Mirror $495 with 20% off and free shipping |
Horchow Yellow Lacquered Framed Mirror $475 20% off and Free Shipping til Oct 9 2012 |
I love the pop of the yellow lacquer on this frame but I want a bit more Chinoiserie for the Meg Braff wallpaper in the mudroom.
This one went for $150 in Arlington, VA via MOS Marketplace a few years ago...if only I could find something like that NOW

Phyllis from Henhurst Interiors suggested this Bungalow 5 Chole Mirror and I love it in Spring Green!
Lorri From Return to Home suggested the Serena and Lily Bungalow Mirror and I have always loved this mirror!
I also have about 50 DIY projects up my sleeve since EG is out of town and I have the kiddos on my own this weekend. If I manage to complete any of them, they'll be posted next week.
The Waylande Gregory give-away ends this Sunday! Be sure to enter (you must follow the blog via Google Connect to qualify). The other "follows" and "likes" are bonus entries!

I'll keep an eye out on my CL, but i'm feeling good luck for you at the flea market this weekend. fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteGood hunting....that's the fun part. Remember PAINT is there, if needed.
ReplyDeleteHey, where's the CT flea market? I might have to go.
ReplyDeleteSo funny I just went through this very search myself. I actually ended up buying this mirror because it covered up some really unattractive *holes* in my wall! It was a total splurge and I'm still not sure I made the right decision given its price:

I was also thinking about this one from Serena & Lily, which I thought about painting a lacquered black:

but OH the prices!!!! I cant wait to hear if you find something much cheaper and fabulous.
Oh man, I know Ive seen it when I didn't need one. Now that youre in the market I'll keep my eyes open for you!
ReplyDeleteBe patient is all I can say, one will turn up.
Have a great weekend.

Wow!!!! I'm obsessed with that mirror! I agree that navy or royal blue would look absolutely fabulous with the wall paper. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove the pagoda mirror! I'll keep an eye on my CL too. Have fun at the flea!
ReplyDeleteGo to the website Again and Again. There are usually pagoda mirrors and much else to die for. Unfortunately, it will never be a bargain. But it's fun to look and you never know.....
ReplyDeleteLove this style of mirror. I have one that is very similar to these.
ReplyDeleteI have always love the red pagoda mirror from Horchow. Great selections!
